Rooted Face 1
The Rooted Faces Series depicts the additional element of a face that obscures and is supported by a root-like structure. I was more interested in the root-like structures to create interconnected and mutually supporting coils. Faces are always interpreted as a depiction of identity but this series makes visible the hidden structures of our individual and social relationships that define us.
